Linda Robson's comment as she was handed an Intellicig Electronic Cigarette to try on the 'This Morning' show on ITV said it all; "Fantastic!" she exclaimed. Linda was on the show highlighting the damage caused by smoking, especially as many members of her family have either died or suffered serious illness from smoking-related causes. Dr Chris Steele, Daytime TV's long standing expert, had an array of NRT products on display, but the focus was moved away from the traditional patches and gums to the revolutionary Intellicig, the intelligent cigarette. Linda will no doubt have left the studio with at least one sample pack of Intellicig and hopefully now she will be able to stay off tobacco. Dr Chris even demonstrated the Intellicig himself with a big smile on his face. Having been actively involved in smoking harm reduction for over 30 years, Chris is an acknowledged authority on the subject; he coined the phrase NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy) many years ago. Growing numbers of medical professionals see the Intellicig as a key factor in the future of harm reduction, especially as this year Intellicig looks set to become the first electronic cigarette licensed as a medical device for NRT.
David Newns, an Intellicig Director, commented, "To be selected to appear on national TV is yet another accolade that is the result of over three year's intense research and dedicated hard work into developing a UK-made product. Smokers choosing Intellicig have the reassurance that the ECOpure Nicotine Liquid used in the device is wholly manufactured and quality-tested in a Bioscience Laboratory in Manchester, UK. Knowing exactly where the product is made and the ingredients used are key factors for discerning consumers and this has helped Intellicig to remain at the forefront in the electronic cigarette industry. The smile on Linda's face as she tried the Intellicig is one that we have seen countless times as smokers discover the Intellicig experience. If Linda can now stay off cigarettes and avoid suffering as many of her family have, we will all be very pleased".
Intellicig has grown from a start-up in 2008 into a multi-million pound global concern with worldwide distribution networks and international partners supplying a constantly growing demand.
