Our research and production laboratories are situated within a world-class Bioscience Facility in the heart of Manchester’s bio-community. Being tenure resident in such an environment encapsulates the ethos of quality and pride in everything we do and achieve.

Our Manchester Bioscience Facility

The Manchester facility houses our Research and Development Department covering both scientific and technological aspects, together with our ECOpure liquids and refill capsule production teams.

Extensive quality control tests and checks are in place throughout the manufacturing process, to ensure the highest standards of quality are consistently maintained. Abundant Operating Procedures and Work Flow Instructions have been initiated as the company develops a Quality Management System worthy of medical device accreditation. Our aim is to follow the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) with a view of crossing to full (GMP) manufacture during 2011.

ECOpure Production

Intellicig has completed a number of milestone achievements in the production and manufacture of ECOpure, including only using European Pharmacopoeia quality Nicotine and Glycerol in production and ensuring that no substandard raw materials are used. Intellicig part-manufactures ECOpure in a protective atmosphere to prevent degradation to the nicotine, and were the UK’s first manufacturer of electronic cigarette refill capsules.

All liquid and capsule production is subject to testing through the manufacturing process and again before leaving the production area for dispatch. By installing High Performance Liquid Chromatography testing equipment, Intellicig are able to issue Certificates of Analysis with every batch of liquid produced.
