Notting Hill Carnival: August 25th-26th
If you are in London, don’t miss Europe’s largest street festival in Notting Hill. Sample traditional Caribbean foods and take in the calypso and reggae beats filling the streets. The procession of dancers and colourful floats along with the carnival bands, will be taking to the roads around 9am on both days. Leeds and Reading Festival: August 23rd-25th

Goodwood Festival: August 23rd-25th

Newlyn Fish Festival: August 26th
If you are in and around Newlyn in Cornwall on Bank Holiday Monday, this fishy festival celebrates everything to do with fish. Britain’s largest fishing port plays host to cookery demonstrations, a fish auction, the Cornish fishmonger of the year competition, RNLI displays, a fishy trail for children, entertainment and the Lugger Rowing Championship in the harbour.
