Vive la France, allons y Intellicig!
Posted on August 19, 2010Intellicig continues its planned programme of expansion on many fronts and the success of Intellicig’s Electronic Cigarette in France has come as no surprise. Michael Cortex, owner of the popular website and online meeting place, www.info-ecigarette.fr, asked if he could visit the Intellicig operation in order to write a photo-documentary and so that he could confirm unequivocally that Intellicig really do undertake the ECOpure manufacturing process themselves. Needless to say, Michael was satisfied on all accounts as he spent one day at the Accrington Operations Centre and a day at the Intellicig Laboratory in the UMIC Bioscience Facility at Manchester.
Michael has visited a number of electronic cigarette suppliers in Europe but emphasised that none of them matched Intellicig’s standards for cleanliness, quality, detail, staff and service. He did learn a new word though, ‘gobsmacked’, which is how he felt when first entering the Operations Centre at Accrington.
Intellicig already has an excellent reputation in France and this is now supported even further by having an established French language Intellicig website, intellicig.fr which is managed by some exceptional French and English bi-linguists.

As part of Intellicig’s UK wide roll out to independent retailers, in association with WH Smiths Wholesale and Menzies Distribution, the Company’s products are now available in over 1,000 stores across the UK, from Brighton to Edinburgh, Fish guard to Norwich and Plymouth to Newcastle and well on target to exceed the 2,500 site target set by February 2011, which will see coverage across the entire UK including Northern Ireland.

Those of certain ages will remember where they were when war was declared in 1939, or when John F Kennedy was assassinated, when Elvis or Michael Jackson died. Such events are defining moments in our lives, but ask smokers when or where they had their first cigarette and the majority will not remember, despite it being a significant event in their lives. The thing is, I didn’t realise what I was letting myself in for when I took that first seductive drag, followed by the inevitable coughing fit that nearly choked me! The dependency, habit and addiction would be enough to contend with but, as time passed and I became more knowledgeable, more sinister threats began to prey on my mind, cancer, heart disease, respiratory illness etc.
