David Newns

Company Director

David is the joint founder of Intellicig, with a background in corporate pharma and project management. David is also a director of Elap Engineering Ltd, Intellicig’s sister company which operates in the Mobility sector. Identified in the top 50 Young entrepreneurs to Watch in 2009, he spends his spare time developing new business strategies. David is often to be found enjoying anything to do with the water, from powered water sports to sailing.

Christopher Lord

Company Director

Chris is the joint founder of Intellicig and holds an Honours Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Manchester University. Both pre and post degree, Chris very successfully developed Elap Engineering Ltd, designing and manufacturing driving controls and other vehicle adaptations for disabled motorists. Original in his thinking and naturally innovative by nature, Chris is skilled at bringing multiple disciplines together, clearly demonstrated through his design and development of the company’s flagship ECOpure range of liquid preparations. As Chief Architect, he has further been fundamental in the development of Intellicig’s unique hardware. With a lifelong passion for aviation, Chris gained his Private Pilot’s License in Los Angeles and can often be seen in the skies above Lancashire.

Anthony Sefton

Sales Manager

With over 25 years in sales & management at board level, encompassing activities including corporate treasury and outsourced blue chip broadcast contracts, Anthony joined Intellicig in August 2009. Charged with developing the Company’s brand image, multi modal sales strategies including web, UK retail and overseas trade channels, Anthony is responsible for driving revenues and delivering service standards.
Personal interests include scuba diving, rugby and cricket, together with passably maintaining an overgrown cottage garden.

John Chamley

Operations Manager

John was Intellicig’s first employee back in 2008 and is now responsible for the day to day Operational Management of Intellicig, enabling smooth delivery across its many channels. With a lengthy background in logistics and supply chain management, John provides the oil to make the machine work. His favourite phrase, which is echoed by the attitude of all Intellicig staff, is ‘We make it happen’.
John’s principle interests away from Intellicig are his family, web development, and his beloved Blackburn Rovers, where he was Logistics Officer.

Trudy Degroot

Marketing Manager

Trudy joined us from the world of e-learning and Audio Visual Technologies in February 2010, having previously worked at Director level in corporate Marketing & PR for over 20 years. She brings her vast experience and knowledge of implementing and launching marketing strategies in line with companies’ mission statements and goals. She is passionate about accuracy in all things and keeps everyone at Intellicig focused on achieving agreed targets. Trudy has many interests including horse riding and authentic far east cuisine.

David Lawson

Laboratory and Regulatory Manager

David joined our science team at our Bioscience facility in Manchester in February 2010. Holding a BSc Hon in Biochemistry, David was previously at the Conway Institute of Bimolecular and Biomedical Research. He is responsible for the management of Intellicig’s Laboratory and Operating Procedures including management of the manufacture of ECOpure preparations. He maintains a passionate interest in all things health and nutrition related and is the fittest member of the team.
